I’m “yarning along” with Ginny over at Small Things today. I am so smitten with this weekly blog hop! Not only does it motivate me to keep knitting (so important for this beginner!), but I also love peeking at others’ projects. And, the book suggestions are awesome! I’ve gotten so many great ideas from these other “knit lit” ladies. Go and check out Yarn Along if you haven’t visited yet.
I’m continuing to work on the baby blanket for our friends. The yarn is machine washable but delightfully soft. Its MayPole by EuroBaby. I’m so excited that I’m finally close to moving on to skein #2. Ha! Its the small things in life that excite me. And, I’m equally thrilled to finally have a copy of Malcolm Gladwell’s The Tipping Point: How Little Things Can Make a Big Difference. I snagged it at the library this morning. If you’re unfamiliar with the book, its about “that magic moment when an idea, trend, or social behavior crosses a threshold, tips, and spreads like wildfire”. I’ve been wanting to read this for several years.
